Magnetic separator application
Magnetic Separator,used for selecting, recycling , removing iron (fe) from Hematite, limonite, magnetite, tantalite,Tantalum, ilmenite, ferromanganese ore, iron sand, plastic, wood, gold, copper,silica sand and so on.

1. Before use, check if all switches of the device are in the off state, and then turn on the power.
2. Operators must be familiar with the usage methods and precautions of the equipment to avoid safety accidents caused by improper operation.
When operating the magnetic separator, it is necessary to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, glasses, masks, etc.
When using the magnetic separator, it is necessary to operate according to the rated parameters of the equipment and not overload the equipment.
During the use of the magnetic separator, it is necessary to monitor the working status of the equipment to avoid abnormal operation.
Magnetic drum separator maintenance
During the use of the equipment, impurities and dirt inside and outside the equipment should be promptly cleaned to maintain cleanliness.
2. Regularly inspect the wear and tear of electrical circuits, motors, reducers, and other components of the equipment, and promptly replace and repair any problems found.
3. Regularly check whether the magnetic force of the magnetic separation system is normal, and replace the magnet if necessary.
When the magnetic separator equipment is not in use, it should be stored in a ventilated, dry, and non corrosive place.
5. When the magnetic separator equipment is out of use for a long time or undergoing maintenance, maintenance should be carried out, including rust removal, anti-corrosion, painting, and moisture-proof treatment of the equipment.
Magnetic drum separator installation
The installation process of a magnetic separator involves multiple key steps and precautions to ensure the correct installation and efficient operation of the equipment. Here are some common installation steps and precautions for magnetic separators:
Choose a suitable ground or foundation: The magnetic separator should be installed on a flat and sturdy concrete or steel foundation to maintain the stability and even force distribution of the magnetic separator legs, in order to prevent frame deformation caused by uneven foundations.
Check the integrity of the parts: Before installation, the parts of the magnetic separator should be checked for completeness and absence. For the ring magnetic separator, the parts that need to be inspected include the transmission device, bottom beam, upper crossbeam, etc; For cylindrical magnetic separators, the parts that need to be inspected include the drive device, drum, and tank body.
Installation sequence: Install in the order of bottom beam → magnetic pole head → vertical shaft and turntable → upper crossbeam → transmission device. For ring magnetic separators and drum magnetic separators, this sequence is universal.
Adjusting key parameters: After installation, some key parameters need to be adjusted, such as the verticality of the vertical axis, the levelness of the turntable, and the air gap between the turntable and the two magnetic heads. These adjustments are crucial for the performance of the magnetic separator.
Leak testing and trial operation: Before trial operation, the tank should be subjected to leak testing, and all parts of the equipment should be washed clean with clean water. Then, the power should be turned on to adjust the magnetic separator to the optimal state. This is the final step 12 to ensure the normal operation of the magnetic separator.
Attention: During installation, it is necessary to note that the allowable deviation of the equipment centerline is ± 3 millimeters, and the allowable deviation of the elevation is ± 5 millimeters. The magnetic separator installed in rows has a centerline straightness tolerance of no more than 3 millimeters and a relative height difference of no more than 3 millimeters. After installation, it should be confirmed that the equipment is not loose and there is no leakage or short circuit during circuit inspection.
